New Bern is a beautiful historic 'river town' situated at the confluence of the Trent & Neuse Rivers in SE North Carolina. There is a beautiful marina as well as 300 year old historic buildings just blocks apart near Tryon Palace - the home of the first governor of NC built when New Bern was the original capital.
